Hot take on Dropbox limiting the free tier to three devices:
I get they need to better monetize their product, but it’s hard to see feature removals as anything but user hostile. It would have been nice to pair this announcement with added features on the paid plan: maybe shared data among families like Apple does with its storage?
Overall, this isn’t too bad. I wouldn’t call three devices generous, but it’s probably sufficient for most people (Computer, phone, tablet).
