Vale came home from school the other day excited about her first earthquake drill. “We got to hide under the tables!”, she said. “Then we had to be very quiet and Ms. Miller locked the door.”
“Can’t let those earthquakes know what room you’re in.”, I thought.
I appreciate that her teachers made this a game because that’s what this is: a sport. Get your game face on. Too bad so sad for those of us that don’t want to play.
