Started practicing Vale’s lines for this year’s Christmas pageant. She’s playing “Angel #2”— a decided step down from last year’s role as Mary (aka the Holy Virgin, aka the mother of God).
I broke it down into four parts:
Joseph, don’t be afraid to take Mary as your wife.
For the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus,
for he will save his people from their sins.
I’m so proud of how well she’s doing and how much she likes it!
